Our Doggy Day Care service is in our home in Gloucester, not in a field/barn or an industrial unit on a busy trading estate with extremely large numbers of dogs split up into small pens all day.
Our day care service is a real home away from home. It’s warm and cuddly. The garden is large and secure, with both a gravel play area, and a large covered paved area for the wet days.
We also have a dedicated spacious Doggy Day Care Dormitory, where the scamps can relax or take a nap after some serious play out in the fields on their daily countryside walk adventures in Gloucester.
We accept a very limited number of dogs and have a strict selection process.
HOW DOGGY DAY CARE WORKS
Owners will need to drop and collect their Scamps from our location in Abbeymead, Gloucester.
We have an initial questionnaire regarding your dogs suitability. If it seems they’d be a good fit here we would then invite you and your pup for a chat and look around Scamp camp HQ. At this meeting we would discuss your requirements and assess your dog in person.
You would drop off your dog to our home in Gloucester in the morning. Drop off times are 7:30-9am. During their day we take the dogs for a big secure field walk, followed by garden play time, a meal or snack (if required), ‘chill time’ in the afternoon and lots of play and cuddles. You will then collect your dog again in the evening after your days work. Collection times are 4-6:30pm
We often see our dogs falling asleep in their owners arms when they are collected at the end of their Doggy Day Care day and we often get sent images showing happy, tired dogs and thankful owners.

Because this is a family run business, all hands are on deck, and our son Bailey just loves to play in the garden with the dogs, help with training and feeding. He is an enthusiastic helper and always well-supervised by Sheryl or Kev.
You are invited to our home with your dog so that you can see exactly how it works, meet our own gang and discuss your dogs requirements. This is also an excellent time for us to assess how your dog interacts with our own well socialised pack and how they may handle a new situation.
